Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone reiterated his confidence in the capabilities of his players following a shock 1-1 draw against Eibar with an extra time equalizer saving the side from a mountain of embarrassment.

However, with the addition of the likes of Thomas Lemar and Rodri, Atletico Madrid will be fancying their chances of making a comeback and enjoying European glory at the end of the season.

The visitors are in a spot of bother themselves having accumulated only 5 points in their first 5 games with the loss of Lemar and Fabinho proving tough to digest for the side. Injuries at crucial intervals have also proved fatal in nature for the Ligue 1 outfit with manager Leonardo Jardim promising an improved performance against Atletico at any cost.
