Ancelotti

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has been watching the news and he knows the questions being asked like why he decided to leave both Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard on the bench while they suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Athletic Club in Copa del Rey quarter-finals that was backed by pokies online.

The Blancos, who celebrated their Super Cup triumph against Bilbao-based rivals back in January, was hoping to get their hands on one more silverware this season, but a late goal scored by Alejandro Berenguer destroyed this dream.

Ancelotti, who was Everton’s former coach, decided against using Hazard and Wales international Bale when his side was looking for a breakthrough in the game, this includes Luka Jovic who hasn’t been getting enough game time. However, the Italian chose to stick and defend his decision for the game.

When asked if the attacking trio were being punished for failing to deliver on a daily basis for Real Madrid, Ancelotti said to the media: “Why are you talking about Bale, Jovic and Hazard?

“Why don’t you talk about [Dani] Ceballos or [Daniel] Carvajal? They also didn’t play, so are they supposed to be punished as well?

“I took my decision, but if you were honest, you would talk about Ceballos who didn’t even play one minute and the others who were on the bench and didn’t play. They are all at the same level.”

Although the Los Blancos have been eliminated from the Copa del Rey race for this season, they have another silverware to worry about as the club sits four points clear of second place on the La Liga table.

The club is preparing for their upcoming clash against European rivals Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League, where they will be reuniting with their former Barcelona star Lionel Messi.

With a difficult challenge set on their path, Ancelotti will be needing all the help he can get at the Santiago Bernabeu to be able to pose a real threat to the French team.

Bale and Hazard had to deal with several injury struggles this campaign, as they both only have one goal and an assist between them in the Spanish League, yet they are considered as top players at the highest level by many including https://www.rivernilecasino.com/.

Both players might feel they need to prove something to the club, as the Belgian attacker continues to be linked with a move away from Bernabeu while Welshman Bale will be entering free agency this summer if no new contract is offered.

Jovic is another player being surrounded by rumours of leaving the Spanish team, as the Serbian attacker has only been able to score just three goals for the Los Blancos in 47 appearances.

Now that the January transfer window has come to a close, rumours can only continue to spread about this three trio of attackers. There are still ways to go before the end of the 2021-22 campaign, and so many events could happen before then. So sit back and watch.
